FIFA rules for OiFA

Dear all I wish to clarify a few points on recent comments made towards our referee’s.

Firstly we are an amateur league that has just been created in these last six months.
Our players are a combination of recreational players, amateurs and semi professionals, our initial referees are/were also people who have an interest in football and students studying as referees. They study FIFA rules and apply them as requested, we play with the offside rule in a short sided team a little orthodox, but it is football not basket ball. Our referees provided a service for us at minimal cost and we provided them with on-hands experience.
OiFA greatly appreciates their efforts time and patience they have shown us. We now have contact with professional referees which we will be using this coming season; however we wish to give the students experience as we are a community based association.

I wish to remind all players that “OiFA plays by FIFA rule”s and to thank you all once again for a fantastic season we have just completed. I also wish to express my gratitude and well wishes to our referees and thank them for supporting our efforts in the beginning of our League of Gypsies and the OiFA association,
